USD Fixed Deposit Account

The interest earned for the full period of the deposit will be paid upon maturity. For example, if you place $10,000 for 5 years at a rate of 10% p.a., the interest of $5000 will be paid to you at the end of the 5 years, together with the principal sum.

Clauses ：

·No partial withdrawal of the Fixed Deposit is allowed, unless specified otherwise.

·Fixed Deposit interest payable is subject to a withholding tax at the prevailing rate set by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, currently 6% for residents and 14% for non-residents

·There is a minimum deposit of 1,000 USD

Loan against Fixed Deposit placement :

The Fixed deposits placed can be used as a cash collateral for a loan in the event of an emergency. The loan limit is 90% of the Fixed Deposit amount placed. With interest on the loan computed daily, it can be repaid anytime at one’s convenience.
